Working in pajamas For those of you keeping track of silly holidays, tomorrow is National Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day. Sure, it might be a ridiculous fake holiday -- shamelessly devised by a pajama company in order to sell more of their products -- but we have to admit, we like the sound of it. Business dress codes seem so stuffy (at least to us Internet types) and can be confusing for everyone from the most casual computer programmer to the most polished exec. Wouldn't work be more fun, more relaxed, if people could trade in their suit-and-tie or hose-and-heels styles for the jammies-and-slippers look? Granted, we wouldn't want to see our coworkers in grown-up-sized footie pajamas every day, but one day a year it seems like it might be good for productivity to loosen up and laugh at one another's sleepwear. To make things fair, though, we think that those who work from home (who may already wear their pajamas to important meetings) should turn on their web cams and proudly display their PJs.
