Sure, the MLB World Series was exciting last year, but how about 13-year-old Carlos Pineda's performance in the Little League World Series? With pitching that would put most major leaguers to shame, young Carlos led his team to victory with 11 strikeouts over five and a third innings. Over the past month, teams from around the world have been competing in local tournaments, hoping to earn a trip to this year's Little League championship game at Howard J.
