We think the world would be a better place if we could always be in touch with our favorite celebrities. All those stubborn questions would finally get answered, like how much William Shatner's kidney stone sold for. Thankfully, some celebrities submit to the daily (or nearly daily) ritual of writing a blog. Now we can keep up with Rosie O'Donnell's political views and her free-verse riffs on traveling and Madonna. Thanks to the wonder of blogs we can catch up with the activities of the wunderkind from "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and star chef Jamie Oliver. Maybe you cynics out there feel that it's all an elaborate ruse; it's just a flock of assistants and sycophants writing the blog entries. But how can that be true when you hear the breathless Melanie Griffith introduce her site? On second thought, maybe celebrity blogs aren't such a good idea after all.
