Here at The Spark, we enjoy putting things in nice organized categories. In fact, that's our job. The spark for new categories comes from countless sources. Recently, a New York Times article about parenting weblogs had us scratching our heads. Sure, we're hip to blogs, but who knew parents had the time to write about the daily cooings and dietary issues of their children? Aren't parents supposed to be at the park pushing swings rather than pecking away at their latest blog entry? Well, it turns out a lot of parents blog or look to weblogs for support, guidance, or a laugh. A search on parenting blogs returned over 800,000 possibilities. We collected the best sites and put them together in one place. It was fun, but we still don't know where those folks find the time. Suggested Sites... DotMoms - moms writing about everything involving kids and parenthood. Daddy, Papa and Me - two dads talk about adoption and creating a family. The Trixie Update - Trixie's mom and dad are keeping detailed records. Chookooloonks - tracking the life and meals of Alex. dooce - uber mom who not only writes, but also takes photos every day.
